The project includes mainly providing consulting engineering services for the The project includes mainly providing consulting engineering services for the full preparation of: a planning report, Environmental Impact Assessment study, site investigations, topographical survey, final design and tender documents for the construction of a dam at Goma span gorge on Wadi Bastora, 30km north east of Erbil city.
The project consists of two major parts:
• Dam and its appurtenant structures.
• Irrigation system for intensive crop production, adapting sprinkler and trickle irrigation systems, beside surface irrigation. The planned agricultural crops production covers vegetable, fodder, orchard, beside cereal and crops like sugar beat, oil seeds etc.
